Issue 1: June 21, 2021
The development of our first issue has been thrilling. We had expected a few submissions and received many. It was such a pleasure to read the work of so many talented writers.
It was not easy to narrow the selections down. There were many that we wanted to publish. In the end, we chose six works that highlighted the wonderful, joyful and messy lives of women in some way.
I couldn’t have completed the work without my guest reviewer, Donna Barrow Green, creator of the award winning fiction podcast, The Diarist. I also found the Community of Literary Magazines and Publishers a valuable resource. I am so glad I joined. And a special thanks to Reed Berkowitz of Curiouser Institute who encouraged and advised me along the way.
And now, the most important part: the stories! Please enjoy the wonderful work of these writers and share!
