We Could Almost Touch It: The Anthology

This November, we will release “We Could Almost Touch It: The Anthology.” This powerful collection showcases the works of forty women artists and writers. These creators will be selected from a pool of hundreds of submissions.. Some contributions have previously appeared in Tangled Locks Journal’s abortion stories and women’s rights series. Others will make their debut in our printed edition.

Works received and accepted though any of our essay and art calls for submission are eligible. This included published and unpublished work. Selected creators will receive a new publishing agreement.

This anthology will document the state of women’s rights since the 2016 election. It will make a powerful statement about what women feel about the erosion of our rights. It will also showcase what we are doing to fight back.

We have kept our production costs low but we need your support. We are seeking to raise at least $2200 through our Kickstarter campaign to pay the artists and writers. Funding secured that exceeds our will be used to distribute this book to libraries, schools, and women’s organizations.

You can read all about this project on our Kickstarter page. Please consider giving and sharing with others committed to amplify women’s voices.
