This has been the longest-shortest spring season. First, we were going to publish in early spring, then mid spring, then just before Memorial Day. Here we are on the first day of June, publishing our Spring Issue. I keep reassuring myself that we got it in before the summer solstice.
I won’t fill up the space with all the little and big things that caused delays. Instead, I will tell you that I am so honored to share the words of these writers. This issue features writing that delves into the inner narratives of women and our relationship with our bodies, aging, defying expectations, and creating meaning in our lives.
Please enjoy new work by Hannah Birss, Anika Hickman, Jo Matthews, Julie Meyer-Taylor, Angela Townsend, and Juliett Waller.
And now, our spring (almost summer) issue.

Please share the stories, essays, and poetry you love!
