Issue 10, Letter from the Editor

We have just published our Fall 2023 issue. I love pulling together an issue. Themes coalesce, visuals come to mind, and, out of chaos, a cohesive and curated collection of new work emerges.

I am honored to have these wonderful writers trust us to get their words out to our readers. Our fall issue includes fiction by Beth Kanter, nonfiction by Michelle Cancho-Negrete, and poetry by Michele Cacano, Jade Driscoll, Federica Santini, Charlie Steak, Margaret Stetz, and Kory Wells.

One of the best things you can do to support the writers is to sign up for our mailing list and share the poetry and prose that moves you. It’s free to subscribe and the form is at the bottom of the page.

Many of you are aware of the challenges of the changing social media landscape. Twitter (X) is not a reliable platform for getting the word out anymore though we will continue to post there. The newer platforms are smaller and more fragmented but growing. We hope one of them emerges to be the platform for readers and writers. We will post on all the major contenders.

Which brings me to another point. We want to be a part of building the writing community on new platforms. We will announce Bluesky invitation availability through our website and share the invitation with subscribers who reach out to us. First come, First serve. There are only a limited number of Bluesky invitations available so be on the lookout!
